Kathryn is a writer and director with a background in design.

She is from Summerville, South Carolina. She moved to the UK at nineteen to study at Central St. Martin’s. She has lived in England for eleven years.

Kathryn is striving to tell complex family stories on the granular scale. She utilises the constraints of shooting on film in her practice.

Her most recent film Bunny’s Trick was selected as a top entry in the Straight8 competition and premiered at the BFI Imax in London in May of this year.

She is currently working on her next short film, We Saw The Same Sun, which is scheduled to shoot in Summer of 2026. Treatment and script available upon request.
